There are new neighborhoods off Lawyers Road and Fairview Road, more traffic on NC 51 and I-485, and long-time family land sitting next to new construction. What hasn’t changed is how we work. Mint Hill was settled around 1750 and reincorporated as a town in 1971. NC 51 runs through the center of town, Albemarle Road (NC 24/27) runs along the northern edge, and I-485 runs along the east side.

Do I need flood insurance in Mint Hill?

If your mortgage lender requires it, yes. Otherwise it’s your choice, but standard home policies don’t cover flood. Check your address on the county map and give us a call to talk it over.
